hiiii loves!

hi everyone =)

my name is randi and i'm 19 years old! (blahh for being almost 20 in a few months =[ )

anyway, like all of you amazing people, i am totally, completely, incredibly obsessed with disney - the parks, the man, the studio, everything. i read biographies about walt disney and histories about the parks just for fun, plan hypothetical vacations to the World all of the time (i'm 85% going in january and of course the tentative ADRs and hotel plans are nicely laid out on my computer), and talk to anyone and everyone that i can about disney.

i grew up watching the movies on vhs and listening to soundtracks and visiting the parks but my real love and appreciation for disney hit when i was around 14/15. i've been to wdw 13 times and never think i'll be able to go enough. aurora is my favorite princess, philip is my favorite prince, and sleeping beauty is my favorite film currently but mary poppins will always hold my heart, my daddy and i watched it together all of the time growing up.

aside from disney (barely, lol), i'm going to be a junior at penn state and am studying elementary education. i plan on applying to do to the disney college program in a year or two (ahhhhh! =] ) and then student teaching in london before moving to new orleans or florida to be closer to disney (naturally) and escape the horrible winter weather here in jersey. i'm the epitome of a girly girl and adore taylor swift, lace, and coffee.

i'm so excited for this forum and am so thankful to Ceilidh for making it!

I'm from New York and I hate the cold! I totally understand haha. Prince Phillip is incredible, he is also my favorite Prince!

We just have a lot in common! I loved watching the VHS and listening to the soundtracks.
And you should totally do the Disney College Program! That'd be a blast. (: And then let us know how it goes, cause I'd love to hear about it!

@cheyenne - i love to make people smile so i'm super happy that you did! and i loveee having things in common with people so yay for that!
i'll definitely report back about the dcp but fingers crossed i get in first lol. are you considering it? =)

I completely understand with the age thing! I was the same way, always exposed but not obsessive until 14/15.

Aw,,haha actually yes! I was considering it. I've heard a lot of great reviews about it, a lot of people saying they want to go back.. so it sounds like a great experience! So fingers crossed for you! (:
