Hello, everyone! Are you having a magical day?

Hello to all my fellow Disnerds!

My name is Stephanie and I am 20 years old. Currently, I am participating in the Disney College Program. Unfortunately, it's almost over, but once it is, I'm choosing to become a seasonal cast member! So I'll be working in WDW in the summers. As far as what I do in school, I'm studying mechanical engineering and hope to one day become a Disney Imagineer.

I come from a family full of Disnerds. My first trip to WDW was when I was seven years old and every year since, my family has gone on at least one Disney vacation. Before the college program, I had been to WDW well over twenty times. My family is also fond of the Disney cruise line.

Other than Disney, I have a few other interests that I geek out about. I'm a bit of a video game nerd, especially when it comes to Nintendo. I'm also a big Star Wars and Harry Potter fan. I participate in my school's marching band, as well, so I'm a band geek (this year will be my seventh year in a marching band).

Oh, I should mention some of my favorite Disney things:

Favorite Movie: Mulan, though Tangled is a close second
Favorite Fab Five: Mickey, of course
Favorite Princess: Rapunzel
Favorite Ride: Star Tours, Expedition Everest

I work in merchandise at Rockin' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Fantasmic. My DCP has been amazing! I absolutely love it and now I can't imagine working for any company besides Disney.

That's really great! I hope to get into hospitality but I'd be ecstatic for any job in Disney

First, I just want to start off by saying, I LOVE Star Wars. Me and my mother both.. we're hopelessly addicted. I mean, next to Disney.. Star Wars is my second favorite obsession..haha. (:

Cheyenne, have you ever been to Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios? Just take Disney and Star Wars, mash them together, and you get perfection.

And band geeks are awesome. The best part is, once you get to college, you actually get some respect for it, too (at least at my school).

Hey, Ceilidh! Tower is pretty fun to work at (though much slower than Coaster). The theme is the best part.

Ah The DCP I want to do that so badly when I go to college My cousin did it and it sounds so cool.

Mulan is incredible, my sister was obsessed with it when we were little so we had to watch it almost as much as I made them watch Beauty and the Beast.

So, the past week, I've been working in Tomorrowland and one of the stores has a build your own lightsaber station. I've been no where near the area all week. Then today, after joining this board and meeting some fellow Star Wars fans, I was assigned to work that station for nearly five hours (in a seven hour shift). Go figure.

Ha ha, yep! There's actually two stations. One in Tomorrowland and one in Hollywood Studios at Star Tours. They're nicer than the pre-made ones, as far as the blades go. I made one back in 2008, but that's back at home, so I can't show a picture of it.

JUST HAVE TO SHARE THESE!!!! Both were bought during Star Wars Weekends. So, not only does Star Tours have Build Your Own Lightsaber, but also the Droid Factory, where you can make your own droid. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of parts when I did it, but it was fun anyways.
